We have two more superstars in our midst.

This weekend Liona Riding and Debbie Rudland successfully completed the Round the Island Challenge at the Isle of Wight. Running that is – not in a boat.

It was 69 miles in 2 days. Liona was 1st in her age group and 3rd lady in the whole event.
A special well done to Janet Horrocks too who played a valuable role as their back up groupie, driver and did some marshalling too.

Well done girls. What an achievement!

Thanks Shafiq It was amazing. I have just got the ultra bug secod one this year. I remeber when I first thought 10k was an amazing distance to run , then you give yourself the next challenge. Got Connemara in April next year which looks fab.

  3. Linda Rusyn Says:

Many Congratulations girls, I thought one marathon was bad enough but to know that you have to get up the next day and run another 30 odd miles doesn’t bear thinking about, how on earth do you do it?
    You are both amazing
