Very well done to everyone who took part in the race.
Congratulations to our ladies relay team Lancashire Trotters who finished in a time of 5:08:20. Well Done Girls!
On the day it was very hot and they ran out of water between miles 15 & 21 thank goodness for the residents with hose pipes!!
Apparently would you believe it someone stole 6,804 bottles of water and 4,040 Energy Gels from the route in the early hours of Sunday morning. The organisers have announced a £ 5,000 reward for any information.
A great night was had at the Italian the night before, loading up on the pasta!!
Many thanks to Norma for organising the venue.
Everyone had a great weekend and a big thankyou to all our supporters who lined the route and encouraged us when we were flagging,it was great to see a familiar face, it kept everyone going.
Now we can all have a rest – we have earned it !!

Was fantastic to watch you all, much better for a spectator than London, shame the weather was so hot for you to run in but really proud you all finished and looked fresh as daises at the end!
