Bradford Millenium Relay (4 Days to Go!)

Club News No Comments »

Good luck to all our 20 runners on Sunday in the Bradford Millenium Relay which covers a total distance of nearly 50 miles from Bingley, West Yorkshire. We have successfully been able to field a Mens team and Ladies team this year to cover the 5 legs in pairs. Lets not come last!!!

An extra battle of the sexes has been waged this year  on leg 3 between Pete Chesterton and Darrell Stuart on the mens team and Sheila Marshall and Sue Wolstenholme on the Ladies team..watch this space! Tortoise and hare situation perhaps?

Further information on the race and results can be found on the course website: http://stbedesac1.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/

Guestimator (2009)

Club News 1 Comment »

This year’s guestimator is to be run from the Ribchester Arms on Wednesday 24th June. Please be there as soon after 6:45pm as possible to book food and enable prompt starts.

For those who don’t know you will be told how far the route is and asked to guess your time. You are then relieved of your watch/mobile and given a set of instructions. The route will also be marked so it is quite hard to get lost. The person closest to there guessed time wins a prize.

Hope to see you there.

Sarah
