On Tuesday 30/10/07 Lynn Hindle was invited to ‘The Mayors Parlour’ to be congratulated by the Mayor, Coun Maureen McGarvey on her achievements in The World transplant Games in Bangkok where she won 4 golds and a silver.
Lynne thanked everyone who had helped her with the mammoth task of raising money to fund her trip to Bangkok which included Blackburn Road Runners and said she was looking forward to the next World Games which are to be held in Australia 2009.
